To strengthen this position, Openai launches new tools designed to make chatgpt more useful on a daily basis. Among them, an audio recording function of the meetings, which then allows to automatically generate a transcription or a summary document via the Canvas tool. This feature is being deployed on macOS for the teams, with a scheduled arrival in other formulas.
Another novelty: connectors for pro solutions. They allow you to draw in files stored on Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or SharePoint directly from Chatgpt. Objective displayed: make AI a really integrated tool, capable of “seeing what we see”. And act accordingly.
This all -out expansion is reflected in finances. OPENAI now exceeds $ 10 billion in recurrent turnover per year, a figure that almost doubles that of last year (5.5 billion). And this, not to mention the income from license agreements with Microsoft. The objective is to reach 125 billion turnover by 2029, according to a source close to the company.
To achieve this, Openai relies on significant financial means. The company raised $ 40 billion in March, the largest fundraising ever recorded in tech. At this stage, the valuation of Openai is equivalent to its turnover to 30 times.
