Last week, Apple CEO Tim Cook visited Luxshare Precision, a Chinese electronic components manufacturer in Zhejiang Province, China. During his visit, Cook asserted that over 95% of Apple’s products are still manufactured and assembled in China. In an interview, Cook expressed Apple’s desire to achieve a “win-win” situation through collaboration with Chinese supply chain companies. This collaboration should encompass various aspects, including environmental protection, corporate social responsibility, and education. Prior to this, the chairman of Luxshare Precision, Wang Laichun, also received an interview where she revealed that the company is preparing for the production of Apple’s upcoming Apple Vision Pro, a mixed-reality headset scheduled to be launched next year.
