VIRGIN Media customers are seeing the return of two popular channels to their TV guides today – after both mysteriously disappeared without warning.

The two channels had briefly vanished from the Virgin Media EPG (electronic programme guide), leaving some viewers scratching their heads.

But they’ve now made a comeback – and have even had a bit of a revamp.

Sky Jurassic World has returned under its new name Sky Action, while Sky Superman is now rebranded as Sky Sci-Fi/Horror HD.

Virgin Media customers can find Sky Action on channel 410, and Sky Sci-Fi/Horror HD on channel 412.

Both are back free of charge and available to watch immediately.

There’s no need to update your box or do anything manually – the channels should appear automatically as part of a wider refresh.

These changes follow similar updates on Sky, which recently reshuffled parts of its entertainment and movie offerings.

As part of the shake-up, Sky has scrapped several themed channels, including Sky Blockbusters, Sky Pitch Perfect, and Sky Family.

These have now been replaced by Sky Hits, Sky Comedy, and Sky Fantasy – with fresh line-ups of movies and shows.

That means some specific films and collections viewers may have gotten used to – like the Pitch Perfect trilogy or family classics such as Matilda, Paddington, and The Secret Life of Pets – could now be found under new categories, or may have been removed entirely.

Newer titles and seasonal picks are usually introduced to keep things fresh.

Virgin Media users may also start to see other additions from Sky’s broader channel list.

That includes a handful of extra documentary and entertainment channels featuring shows like Homes Under The Hammer, The Art of Architecture, and live events across sport and music.

The update is being rolled out to all Virgin Media TV customers, and no special package upgrade is required.

If you’re not seeing the new channels yet, it may help to reboot your Virgin TV box to trigger the refresh.
