BURGER KING has made a change to the iconic Whopper for a limited time this summer.
The fast food giant said the decision came after it listened to fan outcry, holding true to the Have It Your Way slogan.

Starting on July 15, diners can get their hands on the BBQ Brisket Whopper, a “smokey, savory twist on the flame-grilled classic,” per a recent news release.
Included is slow-cooked BBQ brisket, topped with American cheese, crisped onions, sweet & golden BBQ sauce, and a one-quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patty underneath.
The patty also has lettuce, tomato, and creamy mayo.
Customers can also get the same exact BBQ Brisket Whopper as a Whopper Jr, as well.

The BBQ Brisket Whopper is the first offering coming as part of the Whopper By You platform, which takes guest requests and turns them into reality.
Burger King noted that “all culinary dreams are encouraged and welcome” as part of the platform, which can be accessed through its website.
Those who submit a creation must be a Royal Perks rewards member and can also get special Royal Perks that are distributed at random.
The benefits for members could range from anything to a one-cent Whopper each week or a year of free cheeseburgers.
Joel Yashinsky, chief marketing officer at Burger King US&C, emphasized that the BBQ Brisket Whopper was created in honor of the restaurant chain’s fans at the new platform.
“As the brand known for ‘Have It Your Way,’ we want to continue letting our Guests tell us what they want — and when it comes to our iconic Whopper sandwich, they have a lot of ideas,” Yashinsky explained in the release.
“We’re excited to kick off the ‘Whopper By You’ platform with the BBQ Brisket Whopper, a flavor profile that our Guests requested and we are very excited to answer with an overwhelming ‘You Rule!'”
Interested consumers must act fast, as the BBQ Brisket Whopper is only around while supplies last the chain’s over 6,600 restaurants across the country.
CALL IT A COMEBACK
Burger King also announced earlier this month that it would be bringing back a beloved and candy-inspired frozen treat.
The Frozen Cotton Candy Cloud is returning on July 14, about a year after it was discontinued.

Many customers have expressed their love for it online and noted they were anxiously awaiting its comeback.
“FINALLY I’VE BEEN WAITING,” a foodie exclaimed in the comments on a post from influencer Markie Devo (@markie_devo) on Instagram.
“I liked them last year. Will be getting a few this time around,” another wrote.
“Ohh my gosh yess, this was so delicious a few years ago,” a third added.
Someone else said they were “hoping it would come back.”
Similar to the BBQ Brisket Whopper, the Frozen Cotton Candy Cloud will only be around for a limited time.
