If you haven’t taken advantage of Amazon Prime Day yet, you’ve got less than 24 hours to save you money. Many people don’t realize that Google’s ChromeOS has grown into a true Windows competitor, with efficient performance on a wide variety of apps, with a special focus on cloud-based computing, and laptops made to run it provide surprising performance and long battery life. We’ve got Prime Day Chromebook deals that slash as much as 47% off these already-affordable portables.

Don’t miss out on any bargains. Make sure to keep an eye on our round-up of the Best Prime Day 2025 Deals.

Budget is the word for most Chromebooks, and if you’re going to take home a computer for under two hundred bucks, you’d expect to make a few compromises. But in our review of the Asus Chromebook CM14, we were amazed at how well this little number stacked up. While the core processor speed isn’t spectacular, it holds up well when it comes to performance, and the build quality is solid, featuring a spill-resistant keyboard and antimicrobial coating to keep it sanitary. The 14-inch HD screen isn’t terribly bright, so it might struggle with glare, but for everyday use, this is a great choice, especially for students.

Chromebook Plus is a conscious effort from Google in partnership with hardware manufacturers to deliver a ChromeOS portable that still keeps costs down but pushes performance a little harder. It’s more than capable, especially with the component loadout here. We called this model “genuinely impressive” in our review, noting that the setup made the Intel Core i3 processor perform as well as an i5 on benchmarking tasks. Tons of ports and a surprisingly high-quality 1080p webcam are nice as well, and this package comes with a free folio case and 12 months of Google AI Pro with 2TB of online storage.

This is a capable budget Chromebook that’s distinguished by a little more RAM than you’d expect at this price point. We reviewed an earlier iteration of HP’s 14-inch ChromeOS portable and definitely appreciated what it brought to the table, including a pleasant-feeling keyboard and a solid array of ports. While the N100 processor isn’t the speediest, the inclusion of integrated UHD graphics makes for better video quality and smoother action. The dual up-firing speakers are also surprisingly decent-sounding, and with a discount of 11% it’s a decent pick if you want to get a jump on back-to-school shopping.

It shouldn’t be a surprise that Google is trying to tap into the hardware market as well as the OS business, and while the Pixelbook Go is a bit dated, it’s still a solid Chromebook contender, especially at a 46% price drop. In our review, we had good words for the durable and stylish construction, backlit keyboard, a 16-inch full HD screen protected with Corning Gorilla Glass, and impressive battery life. Internally, it’s not a powerhouse, but the Intel M3 processor is more than capable of running all of your productivity apps, and the built-in Titan C security chip helps protect from nefarious software.

Samsung makes Chromebooks as well, and its offerings are surprisingly stylish and cool-looking for the ultra-budget price. The Galaxy Chromebook Go is an interesting machine, with a 14-inch screen and Wi-Fi 6 support for lightning-fast web browsing and video streaming. In our review, we had mixed feelings, but appreciated the decent audio quality, responsive trackpad, and general value. On the downside, the screen might be big, but the viewing angle isn’t great, so don’t consider this one for sharing. A 27% Prime Day discount makes it worth considering, nonetheless.

Lenovo is one of our favorite hardware manufacturers when it comes to build quality, and that extends even down to its Chromebooks. For under $210, this is an incredible deal, with a comfortable keyboard, acceptable performance for the majority of productivity tasks, and impressive battery life. Quality-of-life features like USB-C charging and a built-in microSD card reader are also welcome. We reviewed the base model and really enjoyed our time with it, and the Intel-powered version makes up for a few of our criticisms by doubling the internal storage to 64GB.

If you need some more power in your portable, here’s a slightly beefier Lenovo Chromebook. With a good-sized 14-inch FHD touchscreen and a solid MediaTek processor with integrated graphics, it’ll handle all of your Netflix streaming and spreadsheet building on Google Sheets, with Wi-Fi 6 support. As you’d expect from a Lenovo machine, the build quality is quite good, and the keyboard feels nice. See where it lands on our list of the best Chromebooks, and save 21% during Amazon Prime Day’s final hours.
