Apple iPad Deals

What we consider “the best tablet for most people” got an Editors’ Choice award in our review, with the base model iPad winning raves for its affordable price, exceptional build quality and reliable performance. Built around the Apple A14 Bionic processor, it handles media consumption, casual gaming and other everyday tablet tasks with ease, and the 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display is bright and sharp. A pair of 12-megapixel cameras, front and back, capture photos and video with clarity. This configuration ships with Wi-Fi connectivity and 64GB of onboard storage.

We’re also seeing prices drop on the just-released 11th generation iPad for the first time. We gave this one an Editors’ Choice nod as well, while commenting in our review that the only significant difference between it and the 10th generation slate was the upgraded A16 processor. With a five-core CPU, four-core GPU and new 16-core “neural processing engine,” it’s tuned to enable Apple’s new on-device AI software with increased speed and stability. The screen size has been slightly upgraded, but that’s the only visual difference. This model gives you twice the storage of the offer above, and for an all-purpose tablet that stands the test of time, you won’t do much better at 20% off.

Even the highest-end iPad is getting a little midsummer discount, and while a 9% price cut isn’t life-changing, it still represents a significant savings on the slate that Eric Zeman said “easily handles heavy-duty apps like Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Photoshop, and more” in our review. The Pro has always been the iPad model where Apple pushes the performance envelope, and this creative tablet is lightning-fast thanks to the cutting-edge M4 processor, has a gorgeous 13-inch OLED screen, and weighs in at just 1.28 pounds, making it light enough to use all day, with battery life to match.

Samsung Tablet Deals

Samsung makes a huge array of tablets in different form factors and capabilities, but for a high-end content creation slate you’ll have a hard time topping the Galaxy Tab S10+. A bright, anti-glare Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel coupled with an included S Pen stylus is a pleasure to use, and the speedy MediaTex processor can keep up with high-octane apps. We gave this one an Editors’ Choice award in our review, with reviewer Iyaz Akhtar saying that beyond the excellent build quality and components, “Samsung’s software tweaks push Android further than the competition, and Galaxy AI introduces even more functionality and fun.”

Straddling the line between a tablet and a laptop, Microsoft’s Surface Pro convertible is interesting enough to be worth your time, especially if you’re most used to the Windows ecosystem. The full version of Windows 11 that it runs is powerful and stable, and in our review we said that this portable was sleek and satisfying, with some of the best battery life we’ve seen out of a Surface tablet yet, as well as zippy Copilot AI performance and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Lenovo Tablet Deals

Lenovo makes some of the most consistent portable computers on the market, and that standard of quality extends to their tablets as well. Introduced in 2023, the M9 is a budget-minded slate with solid performance and style. A durable all-metal build definitely makes it stand out from competitors in this price range, and the eight-core processor is perfectly decent for casual gaming, media streaming and light productivity.
