A LEGENDARY chain is set to open a highly anticipated location on July 20, and seven more are right around the corner.
The retail giant is massively expanding with nearly 50 new stores set, opening in some iconic locations.

Target is finally coming to Astoria in Queens, New York State on July 20.
Target first announced plans to open at the location in 2018, originally aiming to open the store in 2022.
The retailer will be opening its doors on the iconic 31st Street for the very first time.
Target will soon open the 41,000 square-foot space, which will mark its eight store in Queens and its 108th in the state.
It will employ around 100 workers and operate from 7am to 10pm Monday through Friday.
On weekends, it will be open from 8am to 10pm.
Shoppers can expect all of the Target essentials to be stocked, including home decor, apparel and accessories and beauty supplies.
The Astoria location will house a CVS Pharmacy, and will also offer Order Pickup and same-day delivery with Target Circle 360.
It has also been confirmed that the store will feature a floor-to-ceiling window on the third floor.
This will offee a clear view of the Hell Gate Bridge.

Target is planning to open 48 stores in 22 states across the US, including Florida, Missouri, North Carolina, Texas and Utah.
Seven of these stores are scheudled to open next month.
These include:

- Connecticut: Guilford: 900 Boston Post Road/78,000 sq ft; Includes Apple at Target, CVS, and Drive Up. Opens August 17
- Connecticut: Norwalk opens August 17: 680 Connecticut Avenue/117,000 sq ft; Includes CVS, Starbucks, and same-day delivery. Opens August 17
- Florida: Bradenton (Heritage Harbor): 725 Lighthouse Drive/149,000 sq ft; Includes Apple at Target, CVS, and Drive Up. Opens August 17
- Florida: Wildwood: 5580 Seven Mile Drive/ 136,000 sq ft; Includes Apple at Target, CVS, and Drive Up. Opens August 17
- New Jersey: Flemington: 325 Route 202/ 74,000 sq ft; Includes CVS, Starbucks, and Order Pickup. Opens August 17
- Pennsylvania: West Goshen: 985 Paoli Pike/120,000 sq ft; Includes CVS, Starbucks, and same-day delivery. Opens August 17

Target‘s website has revealed how the company picks out where it is going to open up a new store.
The site reads: “From the Big Apple to the California coast and in between, our stores are at the center of how we serve our guests.
