On Saturday, Luxshare Robotics commenced construction of its new headquarters base in Changshu, Jiangsu, with a total investment of RMB 5 billion ($690 million). Located in the heart of the Changshu Intelligent Computing Future City, the 145,000-square-meter facility will focus on industrial robot R&D, intelligent equipment manufacturing, and automation solutions. Once operational, the base is expected to generate an annual output of RMB 10 billion ($1.38 billion) and house a team of 3,000 for research and production. It will serve as a full-fledged industrial hub integrating production line development, equipment procurement, and system integration. During the groundbreaking ceremony, the Suzhou Intelligent Robotics Industry Innovation Alliance was also launched. Luxshare Precision will partner with more than 20 leading enterprises from the Yangtze River Delta to build a robust ecosystem spanning R&D, commercialization, and industrial application.
