George Foreman’s barely-touched yellow Mustang is officially up for sale — and it’s every bit as powerful as the man who once owned it.

The vintage ride is currently selling for under $15,000.

The late two-time heavyweight boxing champion and Olympic gold medalist was the original owner of this eye-catching 1995 Saleen S351 Supercharged Convertible, now being auctioned off for roughly $11,500, according to Jam Press.

Finished in bold canary yellow over sleek black Recaro leather seats, the car was delivered new to Foreman as part of a promotional campaign by Saleen.

Only 42 of these high-performance convertibles were made that year, and this particular one — unit 30 — was featured in Saleen’s original press materials.

Under the hood, it packs a monstrous R-code 5.8-litre V8 engine, supercharged to produce 510 horsepower and capable of reaching a top speed of 172mph.

Despite its performance, Foreman reportedly drove the car only sparingly and kept it in his personal collection for decades.

Now 30 years old, the Mustang has logged just 728 miles since it left the factory.

That minimal mileage, paired with extensive documentation and over $52,000 worth of upgrades, makes this vehicle a standout among ‘90s muscle cars.

The original title in Foreman’s name will accompany the car, adding an extra layer of collector value to an already unique piece of automotive and sports history.

According to SBX Cars, which is handling the sale, the Mustang was completed in early March 1995 and has been carefully preserved ever since.

“This is a car that simply has no equal,” the company said in a statement.

“It is fitting that Saleen’s slogan is: Power in the hands of a few.”

Foreman, who became a pop culture fixture thanks to both his knockout power and his line of bestselling grills, never needed to rely on flashy cars to make a statement.

But this one certainly does.

The vivid yellow paint job, aggressive bodywork, and pristine condition offer a glimpse into a different era of American muscle — tailor-made for a larger-than-life personality.

Tips on buying a used car

When looking to buy a used car, U.S. News & World Report experts have a few tips before walking onto the sales lot.

  1. Set a realistic budget. Some cars are more expensive to insure and register than others depending on engine type, body style, weight, and the amount of doors. Before being swindled by a crafty salesman, it’s important to know what you can and can’t afford.
  2. Researching what car would fit best into your lifestyle can save a lot of time. Would a sedan work better for your garage or narrow street? Would a truck meet hauling or towing needs? Knowing what suits your needs can narrow down your options.
  3. Look into certified pre-owned cars. Certified pre-owned cars are backed by the manufacturer and come with comprehensive warranties at affordable prices. Some manufacturers have better deals on CPO cars, so research diligently.
  4. Not all financing options are created equal. Depending on where you look to finance, if that’s on the table, be very careful about who you finance with. Your best option would be to get preapproved by your bank before going in to give you an idea of what rates are affordable, and to give a dealership incentive to meet or beat those rates.
  5. Consider a used car inspection. Depending on where you’re buying a vehicle from, you can opt to pay roughly $200 for a used car inspection to have key components examined by an expert.
  6. Consider a vehicle history report. When things get close to signing, buying a vehicle history report based on the VIN can help clarify the previous owners, maintenance records (if it was taken to a dealership), title status, and more.

It’s not just a car; it’s a time capsule with a heavyweight title.

Now located in Seattle, Washington, the car is available for bidding until July 28.

With its celebrity provenance, ultra-low mileage, and beastly specs, the Mustang is expected to generate strong interest among collectors and fans alike.

Whether you’re drawn by its performance, its history, or its connection to one of boxing’s all-time greats, this Saleen is a rare find.

The sale offers a rare opportunity to own a low-mileage, high-performance collectible with a notable backstory.

With bidding open until July 28, the car is expected to draw strong attention from enthusiasts and collectors alike.
