SEVERAL NFL teams posted teaser videos hinting at special uniform matchups for the 2025 season.

On Friday morning, teams from the AFC East and the NFC West revealed that an alternate jersey will be worn in a game for the upcoming season.
Each franchise then announced the anticipated debut of its “Rivalries” jerseys, which will be revealed on August 28.
The jerseys will be worn for division rivalry games.
The Miami Dolphins, among the teams included in the “Rivalries program”, revealed they will debut their alternate uniforms against the New York Jets during their Monday Night Football matchup on September 29.
The new logo has darker colors and replaces the white in the center of the Dolphins’ logo with teal.
Fans praised the Dolphins and the rest of the team’s teaser videos.
“Been waiting for this omg,” one wrote.
“Ready for it,” a second commented.
“Take my money,” a third added.
“Why announce the freakin date instead of the jerseys!!!” a fourth added.
The Jets noted that they’ll rock their new jerseys versus the Dolphins on December 7.
The rivalry uniforms will hope to “drive fan engagement by celebrating storied traditions and uniting communities with unique and elevated product designs,” per the NFL’s official release announcing the uniforms.
The concept is similar to the NBA’s City Edition jerseys and the MLB’s City Connect jerseys.
But not every team will have a rivalry uniform this season.

The AFC South and NFC North will debut their uniforms in 2026.
Then, the AFC South and NFC East will roll out their jerseys in 2027.
And teams from the AFC North and NFC South will debut their uniforms in 2028.
The rivalry uniform will be part of each team’s uniform lineup for three years after its introduction.
