The Pixel 10 series offers subtle, but meaningful upgrades
While the design of the Pixel 10 series may look similar to the Pixel 9 series, Google has incorporated many under-the-hood improvements this year that will improve the everyday user experience.
Across the Pixel 10 lineup, Google has upgraded its chipset to the Tensor G5, which the company claims offers up to 34 percent better performance than the Tensor G4 used in the Pixel 9 lineup. Each device also gets battery enhancements; for example, the base Pixel 10 features a larger 4,970mAh battery that can last over 30 hours, a significant increase from the Pixel 9’s 4,700mAh battery.
One of the biggest upgrades Google included this year was the addition of magnets in each Pixel 10 device, enabling support for Qi2 magnetic charging, which Google calls “Pixelsnap Magnetic Wireless charging.”
