Elon Musk has announced plans to simulate software companies such as Microsoft Corporation (Nasdaq: MSFT) Use of artificial intelligence (AI).
What happened: Musk’s ai firm, Xaiwould make a software company from AI-Alleen with the name ‘Macrohard’.
Musk characterized the project as “very real”, which implies that software companies such as Microsoft, which do not produce physical hardware, can theoretically be fully simulated using AI.
Although Musk has not announced more details, a document from the Patent and Trademark Office of the United States shows that a trademark for “Macrohard” was submitted by Xai on 1 August.

The application outlines a wide range of AI-centric goods and services for Macrohard, including downloadable computer software for the artificial generation of human speech and text, and for designing, coding, performing and playing video games using AI.
Why it matters: The establishment of Macrohard is the newest addition to Musk’s various portfolio of Enterprises, including Tesla Inc., Xai, X Corp, The Boring Company, SpaceX and Neuralink.
This development is in line with Musk’s thrust in AI and robotics. He has previously argued for the investment of Tesla in Xai and has underlined projects such as Robotaxis and Humanoid robots.
This step may cause a revolution in the software industry, because it challenges the traditional model of software development. By simulating software companies with AI, Musk’s Xai could possibly create more efficient, autonomous and innovative software solutions.
