Samsung phone users have been affected by the green line issues for the last couple of years without any major fix to it. However, one of the reliefs is that the tech giant offers a free fix to some Samsung users if their devices have been affected by the Green Line issue. Adding to the list, recently, a tipster confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series users can also avail the free screen replacement if they have been hit by the green line issue in India.
As per a post by tipster Tarun Vats on X, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series is now covered under the free green line screen replacement policy. He has shared a screenshot of the conversation with Samsung Support, which revealed that the tipster’s Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra are eligible to claim a free screen replacement under the policy.
However, there are some terms and conditions. Samsung Support further confirmed that the policy only applies to those devices which are purchased within three years from the invoice date. Plus, the device should be free from any kind of physical damage. Still, the final confirmation whether the device is eligible for the free screen replacement due to the green line issue or not will be given by the service centre.

What Is The Green Line Issue?
If you aren’t aware of the Green Line Issue, then you might be in luck, as your device hasn’t faced this issue ever. For the basics, the Green Line Issue is basically the constant vertical green lines that appear on your display. While the exact cause often goes unknown, it usually happens after a software update or hardware issues.
Till When Can You Claim The Free Screen Replacement?
So far, the policy to replace the affected display is active until September 30th, 2025. After that, the policy is expected to extend through December 2025.
