Google has recently rolled out a new editing tool called Nano Banana inside its Gemini app. Think of it as an AI photo editor that listens to your prompts. Want to blur the background, remove someone from a photo, or even add colour to an old black-and-white picture? Just type it out, and Nano Banana does the job. Many are even calling it Photoshop-killer!

What makes it different is that it actually understands the details in your image. So, it’s not just random edits – it can merge photos, shift perspectives, or even restyle a room based on your instructions.

Google’s Nano Banana Use Cases

Nano Banana can come in handy in a bunch of ways. For example:

  • Cleaning up product or fashion photos without reshooting.
  • Give your social media pictures a fresh look.
  • Fixing old family photos by restoring details.
  • Trying out creative experiments like merging images or testing outfit styles.

If you’re a developer or run a business, Google has also made it available through the Gemini API, AI Studio, and Vertex AI.

How To Use Nano Banana In Gemini

If you are excited to try out the latest Nano Banana AI editing tool by Google, then it is simple. Here’s what you need to do:

  • Go to gemini.google.com or open the Gemini app on your phone.
  • After that, sign in with your Google account.
  • Now, upload an image using the upload icon or just type a text prompt to generate one.
  • All you need to do now is type what you want to change, like “make the background yellow” or “remove the chair in the corner.”
  • If your account has access, Gemini will automatically run these edits through Nano Banana.

Nano Banana is one of those tools that makes editing less about complicated software and more about simple prompts. You don’t need editing skills, just a clear idea of what you want, and Gemini takes care of the rest.
