IFA is the start of the silly season of tech launches, and it’s the launchpad for numerous high-profile releases from some of the biggest brands around.

IFA tends to have a particular focus on audio and smart home tech, although in recent years, there’s been more variety, and this year we’ve seen lots of wearables, TV tech and more.

Our product experts have been trawling the show floor, attending multiple product briefings and getting their hands on the new tech to get the lowdown on everything new.

Below you’ll find a selection of the very best tech from IFA 2025, and we’ll be adding more as we see it.

Samsung Micro RGB

This tech could change TVs forever. Samsung’s Micro RGB is the first display to feature a micro-scale RGB backlight behind a large 115-inch screen, which, according to the Korean brand, establishes a new benchmark for colour accuracy, contrast and immersive viewing’.

As it uses individually controlled red, green and blue micro RGB LEDs in an ‘ultra-fine pattern’ behind the panel, this tech enables precision control over backlighting.

We’ve seen the results, and they’re amazing.

Luna LifeOS

LifeOS is a new smart wearable intelligence system that looks to eke extra usability out of Luna Ring’s wearables. It combines various stats and metrics, learns your internal body clock and guides daily performance while also adapting to a user’s lifestyle and environment.

lunalifelunalife

This is the sort of software that we like to see – wearables capture so much data, but can often struggle to pass the most important information onto the user. This could change that.

Zettlab D8 Ultra

This is a NAS packed to the brim with offline AI, enterprise-grade hardware, a focus on privacy and a design that looks pretty futuristic to our eyes.

Importantly, all the AI features are processed directly on the device, and you can use natural language to search through your files and keep everything organised. There’s even an AI chatbot for summarising documents.

The NAS is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor, with 16GB DDR5 RAM and up to 200TB of storage can be added.

BleeqUp Ranger AI Sports Camera Glasses

Cycling glasses, but smart. These clever specs combine real-time first-person video recording, voice communication and open-ear audio into one package that also features anti-fog lenses suitable for all sorts of weather conditions.

As it’s 2025, there is, of course, AI onboard. Here, the AI software identifies and edits key moments of footage so they’re ready to share.

DuRoBo Krono

While we love devices that cram in as much tech as possible, there’s something equally welcome about those pieces of tech that focus on simplicity. Krono is one such device.

This 6.13-inch ePaper ‘tablet’ can be used as an e-reader, an AI-powered note taker and a simple audio player. It does all of this without the usual array of distractions common on modern smartphones.

Krono FlatlayKrono Flatlay

Features include a 300PPI display, 128GB of storage and a very clever dial on the side that’s used for navigating the simple interface.

EnerGeek GX11 MiFi Power Bank 20000mAh 67W

This isn’t your typical power pack. In fact, this handy device combines a huge 20000mAh cell that’ll recharge all your devices and a high-speed MiFi router for data access on the go.

Up to 10 devices can be connected to the internet at once, no physical SIM is required, and there’s 67W charging that can even keep a MacBook Air juiced up.

Baseus Security X1 Pro Outdoor Dual Camera

AI is everywhere in 2025, even in outdoor security cameras. This particular camera features a clever dual-tracking system that, according to Baseus, eliminates blind spots typically found in traditional systems.

Battery life shouldn’t be an issue thanks to the built-in solar panel, and video is recorded at 3K alongside night vision. The cherry on the top is that there’s no subscription required, as all the footage can be recorded to the 512GB internal SSD.

Valerion VisionMaster Max

Valerion makes gorgeous, feature-rich projectors and the VisionMaster Max continues that theme. This is a sleek, metal projector that can produce a 400-inch 4K image thanks to a professional lens system. Inside there’s an AI-powered chip, 4GB RAM and Google’s TV OS.

Valerian says this is the brightest RGB laser projector running Google TV, and there’s Dolby Vision, dynamic tone mapping and a native contrast of 5,000:1

Timekettle W4 AI Interpreter Earbuds

These earbuds are smarter than your average pair. They feature a bone-voiceprint sensor and a built-in LLM to power state-of-the-art translation features. These are both included to help the accuracy of translations and reduce background noise from getting in the way of your communication.

The buds can switch automatically between listening and speaking for free-flowing chats. Timekettle claims that 42 languages and 95 accents are supported, meaning you can speak to “95% of the world”.

Mammotion Tri-Fusion

Not a single product as such, Mammotion has unveiled a very exciting new tech at IFA 2025 that combines LiDAR, RTX and Vision into a single platform that should deliver a new standard of precision and adaptability across the brand’s products.

This has been designed to work across a range of lawn types and in various conditions, so you’ll always get the best cut possible.

Rokid Glasses

These smart glasses are designed to look as inconspicuous as possible, while still packing in a selection of AR-focused features. The specs weigh just 49g and are constructed from aluminium for a rigid finish.

There’s a 12MP camera baked in, and a MicroLED display inside the surface of the lens. ChatGPT is on board for queries and object recognition. Dual speakers provide the audio, and there’s a 210mAh battery inside.

Acemate Tennis Robot

Want to improve your tennis game, but don’t have anyone to practice with? No problem, there’s now a robot that can help you out.

The Acemate features dual 4K cameras for centimetre-level precision, a smart ball machine that can launch balls at speeds of up to 70mph and 8m high, while also rallying at speeds of up to 5m/s.

There’s also AI – well, of course, there is – that offers performance insights along with shot and swing tracking.

Switchbot AI Hub

Switchnot makes some great home tech, and this hub looks to bring everything together with the help of AI.

AI is used here to interpret commands and requests. For example, if the hub is paired with a supported Switch Bot camera, the AI Hub can capture and analyse visual data. So, if you ask ‘Where did I leave my phone?’ the system will understand what you want and find it in the footage.

You can also get daily AI summaries, while the system understands complicated requests and turns them into simple automations.

The cheapest member of the Orbi family to support super-fast Wi-Fi 7 speeds, this is a great entry point for those who want to take advantage of the connectivity on the latest phones and laptops.

Every bit of the vacuum seems to have been designed with pet owners in mind, from the tangle-free brush that cuts through hair before it can get stuck to the AI software that’ll ensure your furry friend’s favourite toy doesn’t accidentally get chewed up.

XGIMI Horizon 20 Max

We’re huge fans of XGIMI’s projectors, and we can’t wait to spend more time with the new Horizon 20 Max – the flagship model in the Horizon 20 range that also features a standard and Pro model.

The Max model delivers 5700 ISO lumens of brightness thanks to the all-new X-Master Red Ring Lens and RGB triple laser architecture.

There’s also support for Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced, lens shifting and low-latency gaming modes.

UGREEN MagFlow 2-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charger 25W

While it might look like a standard magnetic battery pack, this iteration of the MagFlow holds a welcome secret – it’s the first device of its kind to pack Qi2 support with charging speeds of up to 25W.

That’s much faster than we’d typically find on competing products. Qi2 is more efficient too, thanks to improved magnetic alignment. And if you want even faster charging, there’s a 30W USB-C support.

There’s a small display on the sides for checking how much juice is left in the 10000mAh cell, plus a nicely designed built-in cable that colour matches the rest of the charger.

Govee TV Backlight 3 Pro

This could be the most high-tech TV lighting system we’ve ever laid eyes upon, thanks to an industry-first HDR triple-camercolor system that captures TV colours precisely and makes for a very immersive experience.

The Backlight 3 Pro uses an upgraded light strip too, which is said to deliver 30% more brightness than previous models and should be far more accurate at reproducing the clarity of cool

Reolink TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi

With its 4K dual-lens, a fancy auto-tracking floodlight camera and AI video search, the TrackFlex is a very packed smart home product.

The AI search could be the standout feature here, as it means you can make natural language searches (a man getting out of a blue car, for example) and the AI system will bring up all the relevant footage.

In terms of specs, there’s support for 4K video, 360-degree coverage and a clever dual lens system with both a panoramic lens and a zoom lens. When it gets dark, the floodlight can hit 3000 lumens with various warm and cool colour temperatures.

JMGO O2S Ultra 4K

We first heard about this projector at CES earlier this year, but it’s only now getting ready to get a full release.

This tiny short-throw projector is touted as the world’s smallest laser TV, and it has some impressive specs.

It can deliver an estimated 2500 ISO Lumens, supports 4K output, and delivers a screen size of 100 inches. Oh, and there’s the Google TV software thrown in for good measure. A very tasty little package.

With its Cloud SIM tech, the UniCord Pro doesn’t require a SIM card and works in over 200 countries and on 390+ carriers.

With a faster processor, more memory, and the ability to turn your lights into motion sensors, this is a product that sets up Hue for the future.

Narwal Flow

We gave the Narwal Flow a Best in Show award at CES earlier this year, but it wasn’t a product that was available to buy then. At IFA 2025, the Flow is finally here, and it has caught our eyes again.

The Narwal Flow Series is a seriously powerful bit of kit packed with the company’s latest cleaning tech, including the FlowWash mopping system and EdgeReach technology.

The Flow has a track-mop design with two tanks, one for clean water and one to hold dirty water. This system removes dirt from the floor, preventing contamination by dragging dirty mop pads around. Pretty clever, we must say.

Narwal-Flow-Narwal-Flow-

EdgeReach then lets the mop slide out from the robot’s body and get up close and personal with the sides of your room.

Sunseeker L3

There’s a lot of tech crammed into this sleek robotic mower, and a lot revolves around AI. Here, the AI system is paired with the LiDAR to ensure everything from the boundary setup to edge trimming is a fully automated process.

Drop-to-Go tech means there’s no need for boundary wires or antennas, and a whole lawn can be mapped within minutes. There’s, of course, obstacle avoidance and it can operate on slopes too.

Viaim RecDot

Supporting instant translation and transcription across 16 languages, these handy buds are an ideal addition to your everyday carry setup.

They’re great for lectures, recording interviews and the like, while the FlashRecord feature removes all the faffing by allowing you to record instantly with one tap.

There’s ANC, dual-device pairing and a very welcome 36 hours of reported battery life.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra

Samsung’s new top-end Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra represents the pinnacle of Android tablet tech with its huge 14.6-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen.

Acer Swift Air 16

If you’re after a laptop that has both a large display and a lightweight body, Acer’s latest is for you.

acer-swift-air-16-productacer-swift-air-16-product

The Swift Air 16 weighs just 0.99kg – that’s less than the MacBook Air 13-inch – and looks pretty slick too. There’s an optional OLED screen, AMD Ryzen AI 300 chip and a couple of USB-C ports.

Lenovo Legion Go 2

Lenovo’s latest flagship portable gaming PC was first announced at CES 2025 in prototype form, but we now have all the details. Features include detachable controllers, an 8.8-inch OLED display with 30-144Hz refresh rate, Ryzen Z2 or Z2 Extreme chip choices, and a 74-watt-hour battery.

Could this be the ultimate portable gaming PC? It certainly has the potential.

Majority Bowfell Halo Atmos

The new Bowfell Halo Atmos by British brand Majority surprised me.

majoritysoundbarmajoritysoundbar

Despite the small dimensions, when combined with the included sub and wireless surround speakers, it packs a punch. And, with Atmos support, the sound is incredibly immersive – especially considering the package will only set you back £149.99 when it launches in the coming months.
