As summer is officially over and the mercury is slowly starting to drop, now’s as good a time as any to start getting your home ready for winter.
With this in mind, Dreo has just unveiled its latest space heater. Sporting a rather straight-forward title, the Whole Room Heater 714S is powered by Hyperamics fast-heating technology which Dreo explains delivers heat in just two seconds.
The 714S also has a wide-range 3D oscillation that simultaneously rotates both horizontally and vertically to deliver fast and even warmth across the entire room.
While we found the Dreo MC706 had a tendency to get a bit loud when set to full blast, the 714S promises to operate at just 34 dB. Not only that but the heater is also fitted with Dreo’s Shield360° safety system technology which prevents overheating, has precision tilt sensors for tip-over safety and cool-touch housing too.
The combination of its low-noise level and safety features means the 714S can be confidently used in bedrooms, nurseries or in home-offices too.
Dreo also claims its energy-saving Eco mode reduces consumption by up to a whopping 40% too, making the 714S almost four times cheaper and two times faster at heating a room than its closest competition. We must disclaim that we are yet to confirm this statement ourselves.
Alongside the 714S, Dreo has also announced a range of other products to see you through the upcoming winter, including the Space Heater 718, a portable heater that delivers warmth quickly, the Dehumidifier 512S and Humidifier 713S which both boast smart connectivity and monitors your home’s humidity levels.
If you’re unsure of the differences between the two, then our dehumidifier vs humidifier guide will explain all you need to know.
Otherwise, the Dreo Whole Room Heart 714S will be available to buy from the 29th September and has an RRP of £99.
