Security startup Geordie AI Ltd. launched today and announced that it has raised $6.5 million in funding to scale up its agent-native platform.
The company says the platform gives enterprises real-time visibility, risk intelligence and proactive control to adopt and govern agentic artificial intelligence safely. The offering is seeking to address the issue that as enterprises begin integrating autonomous AI agents into core operations, security and information technology leaders face an urgent challenge: how to monitor and govern agents that operate independently across workflows.
The company references a recent survey conducted by Ernst & Young Global Ltd., which found that nearly nine in 10 enterprise leaders are identifying roadblocks to agentic AI adoption. Geordie argues that though agentic AI promises significant operational and productivity advantages, it also brings unique challenges versus traditional software, such as unpredictable behavior, nondeterministic decision-making and goal drift.
Geordie says its platform gives enterprises visibility, risk intelligence and proactive control to scale AI agents confidently. The platform uses a novel architecture that is purpose-built for the unpredictability and complexities of agents that evolve their decision paths and integrate deeply into enterprise workflows, according to the company.
It’s vendor-agnostic and can detect deployed agents across all tools and frameworks, mapping behavior and configurations to assess risk continually. Geordie says its platform includes “Beam,” a real-time risk mitigation engine that contextually guides agent decisions as they happen and ensures that agents remain aligned with enterprise policies and fully operational without disrupting workflows.
The company, founded in early 2025, is led by Henry Comfort, previously the chief operating officer for Americas at Darktrace Ltd. Hanah-Marie Darley, director of security and AI strategy and field chief information security officer, was former director of security and AI strategy at Darktrace. And Benji Weber, former senior director of engineering at Snyk Ltd., is co-founder and chief technology officer.
“Our platform, purpose-built for agents, ensures enterprises don’t have to choose between innovation and security,” said Comfort. “By offering real-time visibility into agent activity and aligning with enterprise policies and external frameworks, we’re building trust and providing the tools necessary for safe AI adoption.”
The seed round was co-led by Ten Eleven Ventures and General CatalystGroup Management, with leading angel investors also participating.
