Li Auto said it will unveil the i6, a five-seat SUV built on its native all-electric architecture, on September 26. According to the company, the vehicle offers a 3.0m wheelbase, more than 3.3m of usable cabin space, and dimensions of 4.95m in length with a compact exterior but wide interior.
Regulatory filings with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) show the i6 will use 5C LFP batteries supplied by CATL or Sunwoda on an 800V platform, supporting a claimed 500km range from a 10-minute charge. The filings also indicate options for a 250kW rear-wheel-drive single motor or a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system (150kW + 250kW). Li Auto has said it plans to build 4,000 supercharging stations by the end of 2025.[Li Auto Weibo, in Chinese]
