China’s Meituan, a major food delivery platform operator, has launched its international brand Keeta in Kuwait at 11 a.m. local time on September 15, making it the company’s third Middle Eastern market after Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The rollout aims to offer consumers affordable delivery services, merchants digital tools for online growth, and riders income support and training. Keeta entered Saudi Arabia in September 2024, where it has expanded to more than 20 cities and become a leading delivery platform, before launching in Qatar in August 2025. Meituan said it plans to use Keeta as a base to deepen its Middle East presence and explore further overseas markets. [IThome, in Chinese]
