Touchscreen MacBook Pro now predicted for late 2026

It’s been predicted just about annually for years, but now analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is sure that by the end of 2026, the MacBook Pro will get a touchscreen display.

Rumors of Apple being about to launch a touchscreen MacBook Pro go back at least as many years as Apple itself has publicly denied it will ever do it. Now according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is doing it — and he thinks he knows why.

Writing on Twitter, Kuo says that adding a touchscreen would blur the line between a MacBook and an iPad, and that is the idea.
