  • Nvidia’s new GPU class could transform how AI is used in software development and video generation.

  • This technology underlines the dedication of Nvidia to book AI preface.

  • NVIDIA could realistically reach a market capitalization of $ 10 trillion by 2030.

  • 10 shares that we like more than Nvidia ›

Nvidia (Nasdaq: NVDA) is in its own competition. That’s not an exaggeration. The chip maker is the only company in the world with a market capitalization of more than $ 4 trillion.

Will Nvidia be much bigger in the coming years? Probably so. I even predict that it will be the world’s first $ 10 trillion company. And I think an important development will speed up the historical performance of Nvidia.

Rubin CPX introduced its Rubin CPX on the AI Infrastructure Summit last week. This product is a new GPU class that is specifically designed for massive context processing. With Rubin CPX, AI models can use more than 1 million tokens (a token is the basic unit of text that large language models processes).

Why is the processing of mass context important? To develop software code, AI models must track large code bases. Similarly, generative AI systems must be able to keep millions of tokens in the memory to make long videos. Current technology limits the possibilities of AI in these areas, but Rubin CPX can clear the way for important new progress.

NVIDIA is of the opinion that this new technology “transforms AI coding assistants from simple code generation tools into advanced systems that can understand and optimize large-scale software projects.” It also thinks that Rubin CPX will offer “unprecedented possibilities” for making high -quality long videos and when searching for videos.

Perhaps the biggest claim that Nvidia makes about Rubin CPX is that it will dramatically increase the bar in AI Inference Economics. The company says that this new GPU class could yield a return on the investment of between 30x and 50x on a full scale.

I think Nvidia has a clear path to $ 10 trillion, even without Rubin CPX. However, I also believe that the new technology will accelerate that path because of the use cases for the new chip. Some AI companies are already drooling the possibilities that the massive GPU of the context will open.

Michael Truell, CEO of AI-driven software company Cursor, for example predicts that Rubin CPX will transform how his company develops software. Cristóbal Valenzuela, CEO of Generative AI Company Runway, sees independent makers and large studios being able to make videos with “unprecedented speed, realism and control in their work.”

Perhaps more than anything, Rubin CPX emphasizes Nvidia’s dedication to pioneer AI. The Blackwell GPU of the company, the most powerful AI chip ever, will be taken over quickly thanks to the rapid pace of Nvidia.

I fully expect Nvidia to roll out technological breakthroughs after Rubin CPX that further confirms its dominance in the AI chip market. The greater those breakthroughs, the greater the market opportunities are likely to be.

Now for a dash of cold water: Rubin CPX will not be available until the end of 2026. However, I don’t think that is a problem with Nvidia’s Mars to a market capitalization of $ 10 trillion. How long does it take? I predict that it will happen by 2030, if not before.

In order to grow from the current market capitalization from around $ 4.3 trillion to $ 10 trillion in the next five years, Nvidia’s valuation should rise with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 18.3%. The income of the company shot 59% higher year after year in the second quarter of 2025.

Of course, this growth rate will probably decrease in the future. Wall Street Analysts Project Profit -Growth of around 41% for NVIDIA in 2026. Even if the growth of the company slows down considerably more than that, it would still be more than enough to push Nvidia to a market capitalization of $ 10 trillion in 2030. But if Rubin CPX and his successors are the winners, the winners will continue.
