Adobe has rolled out its Premiere app for iPhone, giving mobile creators access to professional editing tools without needing a desktop. The app is free to download, though some AI-powered extras require credits. An Android version is also in the works. news Also Read: Adobe Premiere App Is Coming To iPhone: Here’s What You’ll Get

Premiere for iPhone is built with mobile creators in mind. It supports a multi-track timeline, so you can layer video, audio, text, and music in one place. The app also handles 4K HDR editing, frame-accurate cuts, and adjustments like colour and shadows. Auto-generated captions are included too, which is handy for social media posts. news Also Read: Acrobat Studio Brings AI And Creativity Tools To PDFs With Acrobat Studio: How It Will Benefit You

The interface is portrait-first, with a viewer on top and the timeline at the bottom. You can resize both sections depending on how you like to work. It’s a bit different from the desktop version but it feels natural on a smaller screen.

Adobe Premiere App AI Features

Adobe has packed in AI tools as well. With Firefly models, you can generate stickers, images, or even create transitions. The Generative Sound Effects feature lets you add background sounds from a text prompt or by simply humming a tune.

Other features include Enhance Speech, which cuts background noise, and an AI Image Expander that fills frames without losing quality. While the app itself is free, these AI tools run on generative credits you’ll need to buy.

Cloud Sync and Resources

A big plus is the link with Adobe Cloud. You can start editing a project on your iPhone and continue it later on Premiere Pro for desktop. At the moment, though, projects can only move from mobile to desktop, not the other way. Adobe has also made its stock library of free photos, clips, and sounds available in the app, giving creators more resources without needing third-party tools.

With Premiere for iPhone, Adobe is stepping into the same space as apps like CapCut, InVideo, and Meta’s Edits.
