These TVs are designed to blend into your lounge

Not every living room wants a giant black rectangle on the wall. Mitchell & Brown thinks there is room for something softer, so it has built a trio of white TVs that are meant to look at home in bright, modern spaces.

The company has launched the budget sets in 24, 32 and 40-inch models finished in white from bezel to stand.

The pitch is simple. Keep all the smart staples, then switch the look to match pale kitchens, minimal lounges and Scandi-style bedrooms. These sets run familiar streaming apps like Netflix, iPlayer and ITVX and pull free-to-air channels over Wi-Fi with Freely, so they stay tidy on a shelf or wall.

A seven-year guarantee is standard, which will reassure anyone wary of picking a style-first option. It is a different angle to the usual design TV story.

Where art-focused models like The Frame try to disappear as décor. Mitchell & Brown aims for everyday sizes that simply blend with lighter rooms.

Small sizes for real rooms

A 24-inch model, which retails for £199, makes sense on a worktop or in a guest room, the 32-inch (£229) fits a conservatory or study, and the 40-inch (£289) suits smaller lounges that do not need a cinematic screen.

White finishes are uncommon, so the range fills a gap for people who care about how a TV sits with flooring, cabinetry and soft furnishings. If you want something a bit more sculptural, Samsung’s The Frame leans décor-first, although these far more expensive than these budget offerings.

The White Series goes the other way, keeping the tech familiar and letting the colour blend in.

This feels like a practical fix for a common décor headache. The sizes are sensible, the features are straightforward, and the finish is made to vanish into bright interiors. If you like the idea of a TV that matches the room rather than dominating it, the White Series looks like a neat, low-stress way to get there.
