After ending support for Windows 10, Microsoft is shifting its full focus to Windows 11. Recently, it has welcomed more artificial intelligence to your PC. The company has announced new upgrades for its built-in Copilot assistant. What’s new? Microsoft is finally adding voice wake-up for Copilot, letting you summon the AI assistant just by saying “Hey Copilot.” Also Read: Goodbye Windows 10! Once you enable the feature in settings, a small microphone icon and chime will appear every time Copilot starts listening. Just like Alexa or Siri, you’ll be able to ask Copilot questions, control settings, or perform quick actions – all without typing. Microsoft also added a polite exit command: say “Goodbye” to end the chat. news Also Read: Don’t Ignore! Upgrade to Windows 11 Before Windows 10 Support Ends Tomorrow, Else..

Copilot Gets Vision Too

Voice isn’t the only upgrade here. Microsoft is also giving Copilot “vision” – meaning it can now understand what’s happening on your screen. For example, if you’re editing a PowerPoint presentation or browsing an Excel sheet, Copilot can analyse the entire file, suggest changes, or explain formatting. You can even ask it to show how to perform a task, not just tell you. news Also Read: Microsoft Ending Windows 10 Support On October 14: Here’s What You Can Do Next

This new vision feature will also extend to games, photos, and travel itineraries – helping users interact more visually rather than switching between multiple menus.

To make access easier, Microsoft is also adding a new “Ask Copilot” button to the Windows 11 taskbar. It gives one-click access to Copilot’s voice and vision tools. The company clarified that this feature uses existing Windows APIs to search apps and files without accessing personal content.

Windows 11 AI Update: What’s New?

Microsoft is also testing Copilot Actions, a feature that lets the assistant carry out simple desktop tasks for you. Whether it’s resizing photos, sending emails, or editing PDFs – you’ll just need to describe what you want done, and Copilot will handle the rest.
