The 23-year-old had the two-carat sparkling beauty made after losing his sight as a teen.

He started to go blind after being diagnosed with a toxoplasmosis infection.

Despite undergoing several operations the youngster was told his eye couldn’t be saved.

Slater was determined to find a prosthetic that would not only look good, but suit his career as a successful jewellery store owner.

He enlisted the help of John Imm to craft the unique fake eye.

The prosthetic genius wrote on Instagram: “I have made around 10,000 artificial eyes in the last 32 years for patients as young as 6 weeks old to 101 years old.

“This artificial eye is the most valuable in terms of materials.

“That is a 2 carat diamond. Why not a three carat you ask? Well it wouldn’t fit.”

He added on X: “I collaborated with this patient ‘Slater’ who makes jewellery to make him an artificial eye with a diamond iris.

“Certainly the most valuable prosthetic eye in the world. He is ‘rocking’ it.”

Mr Jones said himself: “I lost my eye, but it brought new light into my life.”

And he continues to show off the prosthetic while promoting his business on social media.

One fan commented: “Bruh you look like a James Bond Villain.”

The user was referring to Zao in the 2002 James Bond film Die Another Day.

Zao’s face was burned and welded with diamonds during his recovery and it’s implied the jewels became fused with damaged tissue.

“Hardest prosthetic I’ve ever seen,” penned another.

Someone else joked: “I’d give an eye to have one of those.”

A fourth praised: “Bro is only 22 years old just starting in the jewelry game and was able to turn a huge setback into something as cool as this.”
