POCO’s next flagship – the F8 Ultra – is already in the news as a potential rebranded version of the Redmi K90 Pro Max, which is set to launch in China on October 23. The rumoured POCO F8 Ultra has now appeared on Thailand’s NBTC certification platform, suggesting a launch sooner than expected. To recall, the POCO F7 Ultra was certified by the NBTC authority in March this year and made its debut globally in the same month. POCO F8 Ultra Spotted on NBTC
According to the listing on NBTC, the POCO F8 Ultra will bear the model number 25102PCBEG. The database does not reveal anything about the specifications of the upcoming device. Interestingly, the Redmi K90 Pro Max carries a similar model number (25102RKBEC), where “RK” stands for Redmi’s K-series and “C” refers to Chinese variant. This suggests that letters “PC” and “G” in the F8 Ultra’s model number refer to POCO and global variant, respectively. The number 2510 in both model identifiers points to October 2025, referring to when a device is released first.

This seemingly confirms that the POCO F8 Ultra could, indeed, be a rebadged Redmi K90 Pro Max for the global markets. As for the release date, the F8 Ultra will likely launch within this year of by early next year.
POCO F8 Ultra Specifications (Expected)
Since POCO F8 Ultra is said to be a rebadged Redmi K90 Pro Max, it could feature a similar set of hardware. The F8 Ultra is expected to sport a 6.9-inch OLED screen with 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is said to house an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint reader.
Internally, the F8 Ultra is expected to run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It could be paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
In terms of cameras, the F8 Ultra could feature a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope sensor with 5x optical zoom. On the front, the phone may house a 20MP selfie camera.
The device will likely pack a battery smaller than K90 Pro Max’s 7,650mAh unit. It may support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Like the K90 Pro Max, the POCO F8 Ultra is expected to feature a Bose-tuned 2.1 speaker system. It may also come with IP68/69 rating for dust and water resistance.
