JD Logistics announced on Friday that it plans to procure three million robots, one million autonomous vehicles, and 100,000 drones over the next five years to enhance automation across its entire logistics and supply chain network. The company’s “Wolf Pack” series of robots has already been deployed at scale in more than 20 provinces across China and over 10 countries worldwide, covering key logistics processes including warehousing, sorting, transportation, and last-mile delivery. The initiative aims to build a next-generation intelligent supply chain infrastructure, reduce logistics costs for society, and help partners improve operational efficiency.
