The QNAP TS-h2477AXU-RP is the latest NAS added to the large catalog of the Taiwanese manufacturer, one of the largest specialists in these storage and network devices. It is designed for high-performance environments for enterprise storage and virtualization.

The TS-h2477AXU-RP is a ZFS NAS designed to meet the growing demand for high performance, reliability and flexible I/O expansion. It has support for 24 bays of SATA hard drives and is powered by a powerful AMD CPU Ryzen 7 PRO of the 7000 series, which is not usually common in NAS.

It has two M.2 PCIe Gen5 slots and three M.2 PCIe Gen 4 slots for data caching and integrated 2.5GbE and 10GbE ports, providing organizations with a centralized, high-speed storage platform that supports diverse workloads, while redundant power supplies ensure uninterrupted operation for critical workloads.

“In response to different business needs, companies often evaluate NAS solutions based on performance, stability, and long-term scalability.”says Alex Shih, Product Manager at QNAP. “The TS-h2477AXU-RP offers exceptional processing power, huge storage capacity and a wide range of expansion options, including M.2 SSD, GPU and 25GbE network cards, making it ideal for demanding applications such as virtualization, 4K/8K video editing and long-term backup. Helps organizations create a future-ready IT infrastructure that enables sustainable growth.”he assures.

QNAP TS-h2477AXU-RP, principles principles

– Enterprise-class ZFS reliability. It offers self-healing capabilities, online deduplication, compression, SnapSync-based disaster recovery, and WORM data protection, ensuring data immutability and integrity. Optimized for SSD performance in critical workloads.

– 8-core AMD performance with integrated graphics card. Equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 7000 series 8-core/16-thread processor and integrated AMD Radeon graphics for hardware-accelerated processing. Supports up to 192GB of DDR5 memory and optional ECC RAM.

– Three PCIe Gen 4 slots for maximum expandability. Supports 25GbE NICs, GPUs, QM2 cards, or storage expansion cards, enabling scalable upgrades for networking, computing power, and capacity.

– Petabyte-scale storage potential. Supports SAS, PCIe, and QNAP SATA JBOD enclosures, allowing businesses to expand storage as data demand grows.

– Integrated 2.5GbE and 10GbE connectivitywith expansion capacity to 25GbE. It includes two 2.5GbE ports and two 10GbE ports, with the ability to upgrade to 25GbE via PCIe Gen 4. Port trunking adds bandwidth and enables network failover to ensure uninterrupted high-performance operation.

– Redundant power for uninterrupted operation. Two redundant power supplies minimize risks and ensure system availability in the event of a power failure.

– Long-term availability until 2030. Available through 2030, enabling predictable lifecycle planning and offering long-term reliability for an enterprise deployment.
