Alibaba CEO Eddie Wu said at the 2025 World Internet Conference in Wuzhen that the company is investing heavily in large-scale AI infrastructure and developing a “super AI cloud” to provide leading AI services for global developers. He added that over 20.7% of developers on Alibaba’s ModelScope (“Moda”) community come from small teams of fewer than 50 people, with 13.7% being independent developers. The platform’s “Creation Space” channel hosts around 23,000 AI applications across more than 20 industries, about 95% of which were built by individual developers. [CLS, in Chinese]
