Chinese robotics firm Fourier Intelligence on Wednesday launched its first full-sized humanoid robot focused on interactive companionship, the “Care-bot” GR-3. Standing 165cm tall and weighing 71kg, the robot offers 55 degrees of body freedom. The GR-3 is equipped with a full-sensory interaction system that integrates auditory, visual, and tactile modules. It is said to support emotion recognition and natural dialogue, offering a range of services including companionship, health monitoring, and rehabilitation, according to the company. GR-3 is expected to be deployed in nursing homes and rehabilitation centers, the company said. [Fourier Intelligence, in Chinese]
