GAMERS, watch out – nearly a dozen titles are going offline this month in one form or another.
If you’re a PlayStation or Xbox owner, or you prefer PC or mobile gaming, there’s still a chance you’ll be hit.
You’ll also need to be on the lookout for refunds for some of the titles on the kill-list.
Kicking off the month is a late-October shutdown for iconic footie title Fifa 23.
Online servers are being shut down for the Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X versions of the title.
It’s quite a new game, having only launched in September 2022.

But the Fifa world moves quickly and many football fans will be playing newer titles.
This loss is especially tragic because it’s the final Fifa game that was released by EA before it switched to EA Sports FC branding.
EA originally planned to kill off Fifa 23 in December, but the shutdown has been brought forward and the game is sadly doomed.
But the good news is that you can still play the title’s offline modes – you just won’t be able to enjoy online game modes, like Xbox Live multiplayer matches.
Then into early November, we’ll see the closure of MMORPG title Tarisland.
The fantasy game only launched in June 2024, landing on PC and mobile.
But it was sadly slated for closure on November 4.
Then on November 8, EA is killing off online servers for not one but four racing games.
The gaming giant is shuttering Dirt Showdown, Dirt 3, Grid Autosport, and Grid 2.
These are fairly old games by this point, so it’s not exactly a surprise.
But if you were clinging on to these classic titles, you’re about to lose service.
Moving on to November 13 when we’ll see the the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 shutdown of PUBG: Battlegrounds.
Instead, you’ll be asked to move to the newer-gen PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S platforms.
If you can’t make that leap, PUBG says you’ll be able to apply for refunds based on your platform’s current refund policy.
Then on November 27, baseball RPG Tribe Nine is shutting down.
The game only came out in February, but it’s already being killed off on PC, iOS, and Android.
Players will be refunded for certain in-game purchases.
And then finally, mobile title EA Sports FC Empires is being shut down on November 30.
It’s currently no longer available to download for new players.
But even existing players will be shut out of the game once servers shut down.
And because the game relies on being online, it will become impossible for anyone to play.
To recap, here’s the full list of games shutting down for November 2025:
- Fifa 23 (Xbox servers) – October 30
- Tarisland (PC / mobile) – November 4
- Dirt Showdown (online servers) – November 8
- Dirt 3 (online servers) – November 8

And the same is true for details around refunds.
But there’s every chance that these game companies could make last-minute changes to their plans.
