Samsung is preparing its next flagship smartphone lineup, the Galaxy S26 series, which is expected to debut early next year as the successor to the Galaxy S25 lineup. While Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed the phones yet, several details about the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 have been appearing online through leaks. The latest one reveals the camera specifications for all three models. The top-end Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to come with a quad rear camera setup led by a 200MP main sensor. Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Camera Specifications (Expected)
Tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) has shared the latest camera details for the Galaxy S26 lineup on X. According to him, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could include four cameras on the back – a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.

The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ are expected to offer the same triple rear camera setup. These two models may include a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide sensor, and a 12MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
This aligns with earlier leaks that suggested similar camera hardware for the standard models. Reports have indicated that the Galaxy S26 and S26+ could ship with a new Samsung ISOCELL S5KGNG main sensor, while continuing to use the Sony IMX564 sensor for the ultrawide camera. The telephoto unit is also expected to get an upgrade to the Samsung ISOCELL S5K3LD sensor, replacing the 10MP S5K3K1 found in the Galaxy S25 lineup.
As for the launch timeline, the Galaxy S26 series is rumoured to be unveiled in late January 2026, followed by sales in early February. Another report claims that Samsung may instead announce the lineup on February 25, 2026, at its Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco.
