Jurassic World, Crystal Cuckoo, More: What’s New to Watch on Netflix the Week of November 14, 2025
SHARE

Every week, Netflix delivers a bunch of new content for subscribers to stream. Watching all of it would take you more time than you have, so I start my weekend by picking three top items for the next seven days. The second week of November brings the thrilling finale of Jurassic Park: Chaos Theory, along with over a dozen Christmas originals and some compelling foreign-language mysteries.

This Week on Netflix: PCMag’s Picks

The Crystal Cuckoo (Nov. 14)

Based on the 2023 novel by Javier Castillo, The Crystal Cuckoo is a six-episode series that should scratch your mystery itch. When young doctor Clara has an unexpected heart attack, her life is saved by a transplant from a mysterious donor. Obsessed with finding more about the person who gave her a heart, she travels to the remote mountain town where they lived, only to discover that more secrets and scandals await her.

The Son of a Thousand Men (Nov. 19)

Mystery seems to be the theme this week, as Brazilian film The Son of a Thousand Men gives us even more to chew on. When a lonely fisherman desperate for an heir wanders into a strange, otherworldly light, he’s soon joined by a young orphan named Camilo. With two other outcasts, they must learn what it truly means to be a family. The cinematography by Azul Serra looks absolutely gorgeous.

Jurassic World: Chaos Theory: Season 4 (Nov. 21)

The fourth and final season of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory is on the way, and if you skipped this show because you thought it was just for kids, catch up now. Chaos Theory is a smart, tense, and compelling show that really grapples with the ethical and practical concerns of a world full of dinosaurs. Will nefarious genetics company BioSyn get away with their schemes, or can our young heroes figure things out and stay un-chomped until the finale?
