Xiaomi has confirmed the European arrival of its Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6, following its unveiling earlier this year. The move marks a rare overseas release for one of the brand’s high-end home appliances.
The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 uses a five-stage filtration system to tackle a wide range of pollutants, from dust and pollen to household odours.
Xiaomi says it can purify a whole room in just 3.5 minutes, thanks to a particle clean air delivery rate (CADR) of 443 m³/h. This makes it suitable for both medium and larger living spaces, promising fast and efficient air cleaning throughout the day.
One of the most exciting features of this model is the ability to filter out formaldehyde, a very harmful compound usually emitted by furniture, carpets, paint, and fireplaces. Most competing air purifiers bypass this step, giving the Xiaomi device a distinct advantage for users concerned with indoor air quality.
It also features smart functionality, including air quality monitoring and adjusting of settings via Xiaomi’s app for easy remote management while away from or inside your home.
The purifier is now available through Xiaomi’s website, with prices varying by country: €189.99 in Spain and €199.99 in Germany. Its availability in the UK has not been confirmed yet, but the interest should be high considering the seasonal demand for air purifiers and dehumidifiers.
At this price point, Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 becomes pretty appealing with its combination of performance, design, and value.
This might be one of the most attractive options available on the market this winter for European users in search of a reliable, fast, and smart air purifier.
