It’s Black Friday. You’re probably looking for something cheap to buy. Maybe you’ve got a TV and you’re satisfied with the entertainment options it offers. If you’re not, this Fire TV Stick deal is just too good to ignore.
We’ve lost track of all the Fire TV Sticks, but the Fire TV Stick 4K sits in the middle of the line-up (below the 4K Max and above the 4K Select). It’s no longer the entry-level 4K model, but if you’ve got a Dolby Vision compatible TV, this is the cheapest stick with that feature.
And it’s even cheaper in this early Black Friday deal, falling from its RRP of £59.99 to £29.99.
That’s not actually the cheapest we’ve seen it since it went on sale, but in just under a year, it’s only been less expensive than its current price once.

As we mentioned, the Fire TV Stick 4K offers a boost over the Select model with the addition of Dolby Vision HDR, and for those who subscibe to the premium tier of streaming services (or have a 4K Blu-ray collection), this streaming stick also has Dolby Atmos support for those who can take advantage of spatial, immersive surround sound.
We’ve not reviewed this model, but for film and TV fans looking for the least expensive 4K option in Amazon’s line-up, this one would seem to deliver what you’re after with its fast Wi-Fi speeds for a cinematic streaming performance.
What else does the Fire TV Stick 4K offer? Well you’ve got Alexa smarts, helpful if you’re already ensconced in the Amazon smart home ecosystem as you can keep track of devices in your home. It also has cloud gaming support, with Amazon’s own Luna service as well as access to Xbox Game Pass.
Apps, as on pretty much all of the Amazon streaming sticks, are plentiful; with Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV and of course Prime Video all ready to be accessed with a subscription.
People commonly make the mistake of getting a streamer that only supports HD resolution and end up returning them after they’ve made that error. With this price for the Fire TV Stick 4K, you’re getting 4K HDR support for a low price. It’s a deal you wouldn’t want to miss out on if you’re in the market for a new streaming stick.
