Manus, an AI agent company, has reported its first commercialization figures, with a revenue run rate (RRR) of $90 million. Co-founder Ji Yichao announced the figure at an event in Singapore on Aug. 20. RRR is an annualized revenue metric based on recent performance. The figure positions Manus as one of the top earners in the large model sector. For comparison, HeyGen reported an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $35 million in 2024, while MiniMax’s products reached $70 million. The company’s flagship product, the Manus AI agent, launched paid services in March. Its early-access beta codes were in high demand, with some selling for more than 10,000 yuan ($1,408) on secondhand markets. Manus operates exclusively in overseas markets, as its AI agent relies on US based foundation models not available in China. In April, the company received a $75 million investment from a US venture capital firm—a deal reportedly under investigation by the US Treasury Department due to restrictions on technology investments in China.
