THERE are tonnes of fantastic deals to cut your sports streaming bills around this month – they are really well hidden, so it’s all about knowing where to look.
We’ve scoured the internet to find the very best prices around that could save you hundreds on Sky Sports and TNT Sports.
Sports TV packages are among the most expensive around, easily going into the high hundreds across a year.
And with inflation, they don’t show any signs of getting permanently cheaper either.
But there are still ways you can trim the total down by taking advantage of deals throughout the year.
Black Friday is one of them, starting on November 28 – and many places are launching offers early.
Here are some worth looking at to save money watching your favourite sports.
SPORTS STREAMING DEALS CHEAT SHEET
Here’s a summary of the deals available – scroll down to see the full details of what’s included and how to redeem
- Sky Sports – NOW subscription for £28 per month for 12 months
- Sky Sports – NOW subscription for £22 per month for 6 months
- Sky Sports – Virgin Media bundle with TV, broadband and Netflix FREE for three months then £56.99 a month
- Sky Sports – Sky bundle with TV, broadband and Netflix for £55 a month
- TNT Sports – Discovery+ Sports tier for £25.49 per month
- TNT Sports – BT bundle with TV and broadband £2 for 6 months then £50.99
Sky Sports
Sky Sports is the obvious must for any big fan, with rights to the lion’s share of Premier League games, F1, the Ryder Cup, the US Open, darts and a whole lot more.
Sky Sports has 12 channels as well as Sky Sports+ stream for busy match days.
There are several ways you can gain access to Sky Sports – and some Black Friday offers currently available.
#1 NOW
NOW – formerly known as NOW TV – is Sky‘s sister streaming service.
Normally, the sports package costs £44.98 but at the moment there is 25 per cent off, taking it down to £32.99 a month.
However, there is a secret way I’ve uncovered that takes the cost down even further… to £28 a month.
There’s a limited time offer for TV shows as well as Sky Sports bundled together at the moment for £32.99.
Add this to your basket and it comes up as two separate packages: Sports Month Membership and Entertainment Membership.
You can actually remove the Entertainment Membership from the checkout basket – priced at £4.99 a month at this point.
This leaves the Sports Month Membership at £28 a month.
The deal is for a 12 month contract, after which it’ll jump up to £34.99 unless cancelled.
NON-CONTRACT BONUS SAVING
NOW also has another long-running hidden offer that’s cheaper at £21.99 – but it’s only available for six months, so it depends how long you want to lock in a lower rate.
This offer does have the advantage of being free to cancel at anytime, so it might be ideal for those who only want to subscribe for a shorter period.

#2 PROVIDER DEALS
Sky and Virgin Media are running a number of deals at the moment across TV, broadband and mobile.
And bundles are the way to go for wider savings.
If you’re out of contract on your TV and broadband – and potentially willing to switch provider – you could get Sky Sports cheaply included with it.
For example, Virgin Media is currently doing a sport bundle for Black Friday with three months free.
This comes with 362Mbps broadband, more than 200 entertainment channels, Netflix and Sky Sports.
After the first three months free, fees kick in at £56.99 – and it’s a 24 month contract.
Similarly, Sky has some Black Friday offers with Sky Sports bundled in.
The Essential TV, Sky Sports & 500Mbps Full Fibre Broadband is now £55 a month for 24 months.
It comes with Sky Stream, the company’s internet-connected TV device that doesn’t require a dish and the Essential TV package with over 100 channels including Sky Atlantic.
These tend to be new customer offers, so the best value is available when switching provider, though you can try negotiating with directly if you’re an existing customer.
TNT Sports
TNT Sports is the other big name in sports broadcasting.
As well as some Premier League matches, TNT also has rugby, the French Open, MotoGP and even the Olympics from 2026.
Much like Sky Sports, there are two main ways to get access to TNT at a cut price – streaming, or with your existing package.
#1 Discovery+
Discovery+ is the streaming home of TNT Sports.
It costs £30.99 to subscribe to the sports package on Discovery+ but there is currently a discount for those willing to sign up to a 12 month contract.
The monthly fee works out at £25.49 – a saving of £66 on the usual annual package.
But it’s limited to the first 25,000 people who subscribe only.
And it also runs until November 25 – just a few days before Black Friday, which does make me wonder if they will have more offers on the day itself.
#2 PROVIDER DEALS
BT is also running some Black Friday promotions bundled with its other services at the moment.
It means you can get access to TNT Sports as well as other entertainment from Discovery+ for only £2 a month for six months – after that it goes up to £25.
But once again, it means switching to BT‘s other products – so you’ll have to take their broadband to benefit, and it’s all with a 24 month contract.
The cheapest broadband package is £25.99.
So, after six months your bill for TV and broadband will be £50.99.
Another one worth considering if you’re prepared to switch everything over – and you’re currently out of contract.
All prices in this article were correct at the time of writing, but may have since changed.
Always do your own research before making any purchase.
