Apple Watch Series 11 arrived in September, and is almost certainly set to become the best-selling model in the current-generation lineup (if it isn’t already). Now sitting down at the lowest prices we have tracked to date across just about every configuration save for a couple of the very high-end Titanium configs with the Milanese band, even if the base models drop any lower between now and holiday shipping cutoff times, it won’t be by much.
Some might argue an Apple Watch Series 10 at $249 makes the new SE 3 dead on arrival (obsolete), and I’m, frankly, having a hard time taking a position to the contrary. They are functionally quite similar as far as the sorts of features most folks will actually make use of on regular basis, and you can score the SE 3 for $50 less right now, but the Series 10 is (not) arguably a nicer looking piece of high-tech Apple wrist fashion and it’s now starting at $100 less than the new Series 11 for Black Friday – the lowest price it has ever been offered for online.
While I remain a staunch Apple Watch Ultra user, Apple even had me thinking twice about the new SE3 after it announced the always-on display, gesture support, and the S10 chip at the heart of the operation here. I still prefer the Ultra cushion-meets-squircle case, but (on the technical side of things) the SE 3 admittedly does everything I’ll even need an Apple Watch to do, and it does it for $600 less right now with Black Friday pricing in full swing.
The Apple Watch SE 2, which I’m pretty sure stands for Super underwhelming Edition 2 at this point, actually delivers some serious bang for your buck at the $129 Black Friday price. No, it’s very much not a Series 11, not even a Series 10, and it doesn’t have those sweet upgrades Apple injected into the new SE 3 model we just highlighted above. But for the kids or super casual users, this is an Apple Watch for under $130 that does deliver on the basic key feature set at a seriously reduced price right now.
Note: The more valuable GPS + Cell models are at the same price as the base edition, but the colors are far more limited.
Apple Watch Ultra – the most gorgeous wrist computer computing on anyone’s wrist anywhere if you ask me. This thing is very much an investment with that $799 list price, whether you’re looking to save a buck or two on the previous-gen Ultra 2 Black Friday deals or strap up with the latest Ultra 3, but if you’re going to pull the trigger on one now’s the time to do it.
