Sony Interactive Entertainment said that the China edition of Astro Bot will go on sale on Dec. 12, marking the game’s official launch in the mainland market. Astro Bot is a 3D platformer in which players guide a small robot through diverse levels using various abilities to complete an adventure. Developed by Team ASOBI, the title is a sequel to Astro’s Playroom and the third installment in the Astro Bot series. Since its global release in September 2024, the game has gained broad popularity for its varied gameplay and creative design, winning Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2024. Sony said the China edition will be available in both digital and physical standard disc versions, with a suggested retail price of RMB 298 ($42). [TechNode reporting]
