SAVE $250: As of Dec. 2, the 2025 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M5 Chip (512GB SSD) is still on sale for $1,349 at Amazon, a record-low price drop from its usual $1,599.

Apple released two new M5-powered devices in October — the M5 iPad Pro and the M5 MacBook Pro — but only the latter got Black Friday treatment that’s worth talking about. The day after Cyber Monday, Amazon still has the 14-inch M5 MacBook Pro at its record-low pricing of $1,349 for the 512GB model in silver or space black. That’s a $250 drop from its $1,599 MSRP, and one of our favorite leftover Cyber Monday Apple deals.

A 16% discount doesn’t exactly sound huge on its face in the grand scheme of Black Friday. But a 16% discount on a MacBook that hasn’t even been out for two months? Considering that M5 iPad Pro discounts maxed out at 10% off, we’ll definitely take Amazon’s MacBook offering here.

So why choose the 2025 M5 MacBook over the 2024 M4? For starters, opting for the slower 2024 M4 right now wouldn’t save you any money — the model with 16GB Unified Memory and 512 GB SSD (same specs as the M5 we’re highlighting here) is on sale at Amazon for $1,357.77. By snatching up the M5 while it’s technically a few dollars cheaper, you’re bringing home up to 20 percent faster computing, zippier Cyberpunk-approved graphics handling, and new Neural Accelerators for all sorts of improvements upon AI performance. “At this point, Apple is just showing off,” Mashable Tech Editor Timothy Beck Werth noted when testing the M5 MacBook Pro.
