Xiaomi 17 Ultra Design Leaked Again! Here’s What The New Look May Bring
SHARE

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra doesn’t seem to be far away, as several design leaks have started appearing online. A fresh set of images shared on Weibo has revealed the rear camera module design, confirming the look we had seen in earlier rumour rounds too. Based on the latest leaked image, Xiaomi 17 Ultra is shown with a rectangular deco placed in the centre of the back panel, which is a noticeable shift from the circular Leica-branded module seen on the previous generation. The leaked real-life image includes a black colourway (likely a test unit), a metal frame around the edges, screws visible in the corners, multiple sensor cutouts inside the camera island, and 4 camera lenses placed under the camera deco. From the look of it, Xiaomi 17 Ultra might get a quad-camera style layout – but reports hint that this could change in the production unit. news Also Read: Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leak Hints At Triple-Camera Setup With 200MP Telephoto Sensor

Another interesting pointer about this leak? It’s not the first time the design has surfaced. Earlier leaks had also spotted the same rectangular layout, which means this look has been floating around for a while – giving it more credibility than a random one-off rumour. news Also Read: iQOO 15 Too Expensive? 7 Flagship Phones To Compare Before You Buy

However, Xiaomi still hasn’t made anything official about an Ultra model launch confirmation, so as always, this should be taken lightly until the phone finally debuts.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra Expected Cameras

While the leaked design shows 4 lenses, recent reports say that Xiaomi may actually shift to a triple rear camera system this year. The expected setup includes a 50MP main camera, a 200MP telephoto camera (likely periscope zoom), and a 50MP ultra-wide camera, along with dual LED flash.

So yes, while the renders show 4 lenses, the final phone might cut down to 3 actual cameras, but focus more on sensor quality rather than more lens count.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra: Possible Launch

From testing reports and offline conversations, the 17 Ultra could launch in China later this month. After that, global rollout should follow like Xiaomi’s previous trends – where China gets the first reveal, and other regions (including India) join in after a few months.
