From Bègles, Dronisos has established itself as one of the international specialists in drone light shows. But for Disneyland Paris, the company pulled out all the stops. After two years of work carried out hand in hand with the park’s creative and technical teams, the company has developed a new generation of autonomous drones capable of evolving… on water.
Never seen before between sky and water
These luminous drones, synchronized with aerial models, will form the heart of a unique painting. In total, 379 devices will be mobilized to illuminate Adventure Bay, the new 3-hectare lake which will serve as a natural scene. According to Dronisos, it is a “ revolutionary aquatic system » developed especially for this production. Disneyland Paris speaks of a “ show never seen before », which combines images on giant water screens, projections, fountain choreographies, special effects and pyrotechnics.
This project is the result of a long collaboration: Dronisos has been a technological partner of the park since 2022, and the company has a number of successes, particularly in the United States, where it designs the drone shows at Dollywood park. For Disneyland Paris, this innovation allows the park to offer a nighttime experience that always impresses with the latest technological refinements.
The show will mark every evening at Disney Adventure World, the new name of the Walt Disney Studios park. This in-depth transformation, the result of an investment of two billion euros, intends to restore a strong identity to the site by focusing on immersive universes drawn from Disney, Pixar and Marvel. “ March 29, 2026 will be a historic milestone for Disneyland Paris », declared Natacha Rafalski, president of the resort. The expanded park will welcome new spaces, including “World of Frozen” which is the flagship development of the extension, and “Adventure Way”, a new main avenue lined with gardens, restaurants and entertainment.
The “Disney Cascade of Lights” show will be the daily conclusion to the park experience. Designed in a 360° configuration, the show can be observed from different points around the lake. Inspired by the stories of Mulan, Hercules, Moana, Zootopia, Up there or the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it is designed as a journey for all fans. A soundtrack recorded by an orchestra of 90 musicians will combine re-orchestrations of famous themes and a new anthem, “We Can Be Heroes”. Quite a program.
