LG has announced LG Sound Suite, a modular home audio system debuting at CES 2026 that introduces the world’s first soundbar powered by Dolby Atmos FlexConnect.

LG says the Sound Suite can be configured using a combination of the H7 soundbar, M7 and M5 surround speakers, and the W7 subwoofer, enabling up to 27 different system layouts depending on room size and user preference.

Dolby Atmos FlexConnect is also set to arrive on LG’s 2026 premium TV lineup, with select 2025 models gaining support through a future software update, further extending compatibility across LG’s ecosystem.

LG positions the system as a response to the growing availability of Dolby Atmos content on streaming platforms, where advanced audio formats are increasingly common for films, series, and live sports.

Wireless connectivity via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enables straightforward pairing and device integration, reducing reliance on physical media and traditional AV receivers.

AI tuning and spatial audio features aim to personalise sound

LG Sound Suite includes Sound Follow, which uses ultra-wideband technology to adjust the listening sweet spot based on a user’s position, ensuring consistent immersion across different seating locations.

The system also features Room Calibration Pro, which analyses acoustic characteristics and applies AI processing to balance audio output across the space.

Powering the H7 soundbar is LG’s α11 AI Processor Gen 3, the same chipset used in its flagship OLED TVs, bringing deep-learning-based sound optimisation to the audio system.

LG says features such as AI Sound Pro+ enable stereo content to be up-mixed into multi-channel surround sound, while object separation improves clarity between dialogue, music, and effects.

All components in the Sound Suite use Peerless speaker units, which LG says are designed to deliver high-performance acoustic output across the modular system.

LG Sound Suite will be on display at CES 2026 from January 6th to 9th, with availability and pricing details expected to be announced closer to launch.
