Most notable with the input subsystem updates sent out today ahead of the Linux 6.19-rc2 release is some new hardware support. New this week is adding support for CRKD Guitars for those into musical gaming/apps.
To be merged today with the Linux 6.19-rc2 input updates is adding support for several CRKD brand guitar controllers. This is the first time CRKD controllers is being added to the Linux kernel’s XPad driver for supporting various Xbox gaming peripherals.
The guitar controllers being added today to the Linux XPad driver include the CRKD LP Blueberry Burst Pro Edition (Xbox), CRKD LP Black Tribal Edition (Xbox), and CRKD SG.
These CRKD guitar controllers retail in the $120~135 USD price range.
Besides adding support for CRKD guitars, today’s input pull request also adds the TUXEDO Computers InfinityBook Max Gen10 AMD to the i8042 quirk table. The other changes are small fixes to the input code.
