IF you’re hoping to make a bit of cash after Christmas then selling old stuff around the home could be the answer.

And there’s no better place to start than long-forgotten video games.

There are plenty of titles that can fetch thousands but they’re so rare you’re less likely to own one of them.

Instead, we’ve trawled through data on Pricecharting.com to find the most sought after titles around based on popularity.

This means you’re more likely to find a quick buyer if you decide to sell them.

We’ve also narrowed down the search to only titles worth £100 or more – and ones that were sold in the UK as opposed to other countries.

It’s worth so much because it was never released in America.

The Silent Hill titles also feature heavily – the PS1 game is actually the most sought after on that console but it didn’t quite meet the £100 threshold.

But Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 both on PS2 care worth your while.

And Pokemon fans might want to have a dig around too, as they are pretty popular as well.

Pokémon Crystal on the Game Boy Color is valued at more than £250.

And Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness for GameCube could fetch about £150.

Meanwhile, for Xbox it’s Steel Battalion that’s highly desired, estimated to be worth about £160.

It’s actually the number two for Xbox, the number one is Matrix: Path of Neo but you won’t get much for it.

See the full chart below:
