You can now shoot video from the VSCO Capture app, and apply more than 50 VSCO filter presets as you’re doing it. Here are the details.

VSCO is updating the VSCO Capture app today with the ability to shoot video, in addition to photos.
As VSCO Capture users would expect, you can apply and adjust VSCO’s filter presets as you’re shooting, “so you can frame the world exactly as you see it.”

In addition to the new video capture feature, VSCO Camera is also introducing a new filter for photos: Film Grain. With it, you can dynamically control texture with settings such as Strength, Size, and Colors:

VSCO Members can create with unmatched authenticity by combining the Grain texture tool with 40+ Film X preset filters that are inspired by iconic films that defined decades of photography.
What’s more, you can overlay the new Grain filter on top of VSCO’s Film X Filters, customize it alongside “classic film stocks inspired by Kodak, Fuji, and Agfa,” then save these personalized looks as film Recipes.
