February

iPhone 16e

The iPhone 16e replaced the iPhone SE as Apple’s entry-level iPhone, packing a 6.1-inch OLED display with Face ID, the A18 chip with Apple Intelligence support, and Apple’s custom C1 modem for improved battery efficiency.

Starting at $599 with 128GB storage, it brought advanced features like a 48MP Fusion camera and Action button to Apple’s most affordable iPhone while ditching the Lightning port for USB-C.

March

MacBook Air

Apple refreshed both 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models with the M4 chip, adding a new sky blue color option and dropping the starting price to $999 (down from $1,099).

The update brought support for two external displays with the internal display active, a 12MP Center Stage camera, up to 18 hours of battery life, and 16GB of unified memory as standard.

Mac Studio

The Mac Studio received an unusual update featuring the M4 Max chip and, surprisingly, the M3 Ultra chip (rather than the expected M4 Ultra) for high-end configurations.

Key improvements included Thunderbolt 5 connectivity offering 120Gb/s transfer speeds, support for up to 512GB of unified memory with M3 Ultra, and unchanged pricing starting at $1,999 for the M4 Max model.

iPad

The 11th-generation iPad upgraded from the A14 to the A16 Bionic chip while maintaining the same $349 starting price but doubling base storage from 64GB to 128GB.

Notably, it remains the only iPad in Apple’s current lineup without Apple Intelligence support due to having only 6GB of RAM instead of the required 8GB for those features.

iPad Air

Apple updated the iPad Air with the M3 chip, delivering faster performance with hardware-accelerated ray tracing and faster graphics.

The update came alongside a redesigned Magic Keyboard featuring a larger trackpad and function key row (though without backlighting) at a lower price of $269 for the 11-inch model.

iPhone 17

The iPhone 17 started at $799 with a 6.3-inch display, bringing ProMotion (120Hz), Always-On display, and improved battery life to Apple’s base flagship for the first time.

Powered by the A19 chip with 12GB RAM, the iPhone 17 features upgraded 48MP dual cameras, Apple’s N1 networking chip with Wi-Fi 7 support, and Ceramic Shield 2 with 3x better scratch resistance.

iPhone Air

The iPhone Air is Apple’s thinnest iPhone ever at just 5.6mm thick, featuring a 6.5-inch display and powered by the A19 Pro chip with a 5-core GPU.

Priced at $999, it replaces the Plus lineup with a titanium frame, single 48MP camera with 2x zoom, Center Stage front camera, and Apple’s C1X modem, though battery capacity was notably smaller at around 3,149 mAh.

iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max

The iPhone 17 Pro saw a $100 price increase to $1,099 (though with doubled base storage from 128GB to 256GB).

The iPhone 17 Pro Max maintained its $1,199 starting price while featuring the largest battery ever in an iPhone and the longest battery life of any iPhone model.

Both phones are powered by the A19 Pro chip and have an improved thermal design with vapor chamber cooling, and a new 4x/8x telephoto camera system. They feature a new design with a camera bar on the back. The phones are available in deep blue, silver, and cosmic orange.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max introduced a new 2TB storage option for $1,999.

Apple Watch SE 3

The third-generation Apple Watch SE brought a larger display and improved durability with Ion-X glass that’s 4x more scratch-resistant than its predecessor, while maintaining the $249 starting price.

Despite being positioned as Apple’s budget watch, it gained features like an Always-On display, fast charging, Sleep Score, and more. It still lacks other health features like blood oxygen measurements and sleep apnea monitoring.

Apple Watch Series 11

The Apple Watch Series 11 introduced 5G connectivity and hypertension detection that monitors blood pressure patterns over 30-day periods to alert users of potential high blood pressure.

Available in new aluminum colors and titanium finishes, it featured the S10 chip, improved 24-hour battery life, and more.

Apple Watch Ultra 3

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 brought significant battery improvements with 42 hours of normal use (72 hours in low-power mode), along with 5G support and satellite connectivity for emergency messaging.

Priced at $799, it featured blood pressure monitoring, faster charging, a brighter 3000-nit display, and enhanced fitness features including the AI-powered Workout Buddy experience.

AirPods Pro 3

The AirPods Pro 3 delivered 2x better Active Noise Cancellation than AirPods Pro 2 and introduced the first heart rate sensor in AirPods, enabling workout tracking through the Fitness app.

Priced at $249, they featured a redesigned fit with five ear tip sizes (including XXS), improved IP57 water resistance, up to 10 hours of battery life in Transparency mode, and Live Translation powered by Apple Intelligence.

Vision Pro

Apple upgraded the Vision Pro with the M5 chip, delivering improved performance and up to 120Hz refresh rate support (up from 100Hz), along with enhanced battery life and 50% faster AI-powered features.

The updated model shipped with the new cushioned Dual Knit Band for improved comfort and maintained the $3,499 starting price.

iPad Pro

The iPad Pro received the M5 chip upgrade across 11-inch and 13-inch models, bringing up to 3.5x faster AI performance compared to the M4 version. Key improvements included Apple’s C1X cellular modem with 50% faster cellular data, the N1 chip for Wi-Fi 7 support, 2x faster SSD speeds, and the ability to drive external displays at up to 120Hz.

MacBook Pro

Apple released an updated 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M5 chip, offering improved performance with up to 1.6x better graphics and higher memory bandwidth of 153GB/s (up from M4’s 120GB/s).

Starting at $1,599, the entry-level model gained 2x faster SSD read and write speeds and up to 24 hours of battery life.
