AMAZON is giving away access to a load of premium TV channels for free.

It’s part of a special promotion that is due to expire in days.

An Amazon Prime membership (or standalone Prime Video) includes access to loads of free TV channels.

But some are premium channels that require an extra subscription free to unlock.

Normally Amazon lets you watch these for seven days as part of a free trial.

However, as part of a seasonal Prime Video giveaway, you can claim 30 full days of free access to as many as 21 channels.

The downside is that the offer only runs through until January 6, 2026.

So you’ll need to claim them before that date to get access to your 30-day freebie.

Thankfully once you start the subscription, it’ll run beyond the January 6 cut-off.

If you go onto Prime Video, you might get a pop-up alerting you to the free subscriptions offer.

The Sun verified that the pop-up appears while browsing on the web version of Prime Video.

It notes: “Limited time only: Try selected subscriptions for free for 30 days.”

Here’s the full list of free channel trials currently on offer at Prime Video:

  • Studiocanal Presents
  • MUBI
  • 50 Cent Action
  • Arrow Video
  • HIDIVE
  • CuriosityStream
  • Pash
  • Sooner
  • The Icon Film Channel
  • Hopster
  • Qello Concerts
  • Pokémon
  • Arrow TV
  • OUTtv
  • MarqueeTV
  • BBC Maestro Essentials
  • Curiosity University
  • Stingray Classica
  • ShortsTV
  • Stingray Djazz
  • Liongsate+

But be warned: these subscriptions auto-renew at their usual pricing.

So if you don’t want to be charged for a load of subscriptions, you’ll need to cancel them ahead of time.

It’s also worth noting that you need an Amazon Prime or Prime Video subscription to take advantage of this deal.

Normally Amazon Prime costs £8.99 every month, although you can get a cheaper £5.99-a-month membership that only includes Prime Video.

Students and 18-22-year-olds in the UK can get Prime for £4.49 a month.

And this student-or-young-person membership also includes an extended six-month free trial.

Normally you’d only get a 30-day free trial with regular Amazon Prime.

You can also save money on Prime by signing up to an annual Prime membership for £95, which is cheaper than the annual cost of a monthly subscription at £107.88.
