TL;DR

  • Jackery, a provider of solar power and backup solutions, is showcasing new products at CES 2026.
  • The lineup includes a Solar Gazebo, with solar panels replacing the roof tiles, integrated power outlet, and a built-in projection screen.
  • Besides the gazebo, Jackery is also announcing an autonomous robot that moves around chasing sunlight, follows you around, and serves as a portable power station.
  • The third product is a rugged power station that is meant for harsh weather and can deliver high power for your off-grid adventures.

Among the many renewable energy sources, solar never goes out of fashion. With the energy demand in the US expected to reach a record high, especially due to the steep increase in power requirements for AI data centers, it is in your best interest to invest in an alternative source of energy. Besides helping you reduce your power bills, solar equipment also serves as a backup in outages or natural disasters. Jackery, a company that specializes in solar power and related tech, has a few new products that will fulfill your needs while adding to your house’s charm.

Solar Gazebo

Jackery has a large catalog of power backup solutions, and is now adding three more products, which are being showcased at CES 2026. The first of them is a solar gazebo, which, in addition to offering shade from the sun, also serves as a structure to support solar panels. Here, the solar panels also serve as the gazebo’s roof.

The frame for the Jackery’s solar gazebo is made of 6063 T5 aluminum, with properties such as high strength and high resistance to corrosion. The rooftop holds solar panels with a combined power output of 2,000 watts and can deliver up to 10 kilowatt-hours of energy per day. These can be paired to Jackery’s home backup products, such as the Explorer 5000 Plus, to store the energy and serve as a source of power delivery during emergencies or moments of outages.

The solar panels integrate with the louvered roof, allowing its fortunate owners the option to transform the roofing to their convenience. In addition to the basic structure, the gazebo also comes integrated with a pull-down projector screen and an IP5x-rated AC outlet to power appliances or even charge equipment such as an electric lawn mower.

The gazebo comes with a 25-year warranty, which should add a sense of assurance, whether you plan to augment your existing power supply or use it as the sole power solution for your base off the grid.

Solar Mars Bot

Alongside the gazebo, Jackery is showcasing what it calls the “world’s first autonomous solar robot.” Clearly inspired by NASA’s Mars Rover, the robot is designed as a mobile solar station with panels that automatically tilt to capture the best sunlight at any given spot. It features solar panels that automatically fan out when fishing for life and retract when not in use, making storage a much more convenient affair.

While the previous generation could only move autonomously, Jackery claims its newest iteration also features AI-enhanced computer vision, allowing it to move freely across your lawn in search of sunlight. The bot also doubles as a portable power station, delivering 300W of power after being charged and follows you around like a butler to serve your power needs.

The previous model could also automatically dock to another backup solution for your home’s grid and be tracked via an app. We expect the same features to be available on the newer model too.

Explorer 1500 Ultra portable rugged power station

Jackery is also showcasing a portable all-weather power station that is easier to carry along with you on off-grid trails. The backup solution packs a large 1,536Wh battery, delivering 1,800W of continuous output (with a 5-minute surge output of up to 2,600W) along with support for fast charging. That means, it can not only power smaller gadgets and appliances but also bigger ones, including refrigerators and home office setups, Jackery says.

Explorer 1500 Ultra comes with an IP65 rating, which means it is meant for harsh usage and withstands extreme temperatures, ranging from 5°F to 113°F. It can also endure sudden shock and is designed to run smoothly through an earthquake of magnitude 9 on the Richter scale.

The power station also features a detachable metal base so the chamber designed to house the fan can be cleaned more easily, ensuring longevity.

Availability

Of the three products, Jackery brings the Explorer 1500 Ultra to the market first, starting January 4. The power station will be sold with an early bird offer of $899 through January 24, post which the price will increase to $1,399.

The Solar Mars Bot is also expected to launch in the US, though Jackery hasn’t revealed the specifics, including the pricing, just yet. Meanwhile, there is no detail about the launch or availability of the Solar Gazebo.
