Among the companies vying for you attention at CES 2026 this week is Hisense, which is hosting a press event on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET. If you’re not in Las Vegas, however, you can stream it live in the video above.
Like Samsung and LG, Hisense is promising to showcase the “latest evolution” of RGB MiniLED, a display technology that uses clusters of red, green, and blue LEDs that can be individually adjusted to improve contrast and color range.
We tested it out for the first time last summer on the Hisense 116UX, which showed the brightest picture and widest color our expert had ever measured on a TV.
At CES, Hisense will be touting a “human-centric display evolution [to] elevate everyday life, making screens more natural to view, more sustainable to use, and more emotionally engaging in the home.” That’s a lot of marketing speak, but the idea seems to be getting you to buy the biggest, brightest, and most eye-popping TV you can afford.
The company also teased new AI-powered home appliances that will build on previously announced devices like the PureView fridge and X-Zone Master 4-in-1 heat pump washer-dryer.
